Knowing this first will help you with which kind of impact the style caters for and whether or not it suits you and your needs.
If I lost you at impact don't worry, impact just means the kind of support this will offer you. Generally there are 3 types of Support Factor/Impact, Low, Medium and High (we've got a handy filter for impact in our sports section)
Low/Light Impact - A low impact sports bra, is great for containing you but offers low support. They are often lightweight, with very minimal structure. This type of sports bra is ideal for walking, yoga, golf, activities that don't require much movement.
Medium- A Medium impact sports bras are made with an extra level of support. The band you'll notice is firmer than the Light Impact. Some styles will have the option to cross straps, which helps with extra support. Typically, these bras come with a slight degree of compression and fit snug to the body for additional support.
High Impact - This is best suitable for cross-fit, horse riding, running as well as jobs that physical like Police, Ambo's, Army training. The High Impact sports bra, will be firmer, have less stretch. Don't be alarmed if you notice this. The High impact is designed to compress, and secure your breast to your chest. The Higher the impact the less bounce and movement you will have from your bust.
