Why/When Do You Need To Wear A Sports Bra?

Whether you are a gym junkie or a couch potato like myself, every woman should have a sports bra in her armoury. But why, my normal bras are fine?! I hear you all scream.

Well, believe it or not, our lady orbs need extra support for those fun activities. Your normal/ everyday bras are not designed to help properly support your bust, secure you and strap you down.

Sports bras are made to help restrict movement and bounce and hold our breast in place more firmly, this helps reduce tearing in your ligaments and prevent early sagging (like a straight jacket for your breasts). By restricting the movement and bounce of your breast this also helps decrease those awful pains and aches we can experience in our backs, chest and necks due to not wearing the proper equipment.

Okay, but when do we actually need to wear a sports bra? Some women prefer to wear a sports bra as their everyday style, and this can be great if you have an active job/lifestyle or just love that extra support while you run errands. We obviously need a sports bra for activities/sports that involve more movement. From walking the dog, marathon training, yoga and weight training to everything else in between.
